Mehmed I — cropped from Ottoman miniature depicting Mehmed I, Sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1413 to 1421. The miniature comes from a 16th-century manuscript illustrating the dynasty, and is currently preserved in the Istanbul University Library (MS Yildiz 2653, fol. 261).
