US captures Viet Cong — Original caption: On 6-7 Feb. 67, Company "A", 1st Bn., 5th Cav., 1st Cav. Div. (Airmobile), on Operation "Thayer II" conducted a search and destroy mission against the Viet Cong in the An Lao Valley approximately 400 miles northeast of Saigon, Republic of Vietnam. Members of Company "A" return to base camp with Viet Cong prisoners captured in mountain caves.
