Urraca of León and Castile — Retrato imaginario de la reina Urraca I de León (1081-1126). Fue hija del rey Alfonso VI de León y de la reina Constanza de Borgoña. Falleció en 1126, a los 44 años de edad y fue sucedida en el trono por su hijo, Alfonso VII de León.

Almoravides flag — 1st ever recorded flag on moroccan territories. Came from the Almoravides tribe with symbols on it as Half Moons and in the center, what seem to be a Narcissus Jonquilla Flower

Flag of Almohad Dynasty (1147-1269) - cropped — The oldest known flag of Morocco, is shown in the Libro de Conoscimiento de Todos los Reynos. This flag is supposed to have been used by the rulers in Morocco in XI-XIIIth century. The flag is red with a 64-square chessboard placed in the middle of the flag. The upper left square of the chessboard is white.
