Leonov diesafter a long illness in Moscow.
His funeral took place on 15 October. He was the last living member of the five cosmonauts in the Voskhod programme.[33] He was survived by his wife Svetlana Dozenko, daughter Oksana, and two grandchildren; his other daughter, Viktoria, died in 1996.
