First Kamchatka expedition

The First Kamchatka expedition is the first Russian expedition to explore the Asian Pacific coast and is her first naval scientific expedition.
It is led by Vitus Bering between 1725 to 1731, and would confirm the presence of a strait (now known as Bering Strait) between Asia and America.
