One of the greatest scientific discoverers of all time. English scientist who studied electromagnetism and electrochemistry. His discoveries include the principles underlying electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism and electrolysis.
Faraday was a devout Christian, and served as deacon and elder in church. Biographers have noted that "a strong sense of the unity of God and nature pervaded Faraday's life and work."
