Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
1870 AD
During the year 1866, ships of various nationalities sight a mysterious sea monster and the U.S. government assembles an expedition to find and destroy the monster.
After a five-month search, they locate and attack the monster. During the fight, three protagonists are hurled into the sea and ultimately climb onto the monster itself, which they are startled to find is Captain Nemo's futuristic submarine.
