AKA Koran
The Islamic Scripture.
Initially dictated to Muhammad in visions with the angel Gabriel begining in 610 and continuing throughout his life. The Quran itself states that Gabriel delivered God's word verbatim and Muhammad was merely allowed to record it, not change it. It was finally codified into its present book form under the third caliph, Uthman, who reigned from 644–656.
