Fourteen year old Cleopatra was summoned to met Mark Antony.
She made an extravagant entrance on a golden barge dressed as Aphrodite. Her attendants fanned her adorned as cupids. Antony, who saw himself as an incarnation of the Greek god Dionysus, was immediately impressed and their love affair began.
