Boris squashes son Vladimir's Pagan revival

Vladimir-Rasate had tried to restore Paganism, the traditional religion of the country since 681. However, his actions were not well received by the population and the aristocracy, and he was only supported by a few of the boyars.
Father Boris, who had retired to a monastery, comes out of retirement to
defeat and capture his son Vladimir.
Boris blinds Vladimir and throws him into prison which is the last we hear of Vladimir.
