Galileo Observes Moons of Jupiter

Using his 20X telescope Galileo is the first person to observe 3 moons of Jupiter.
He initially thought they were fixed stars, but over the next few nights he realized they were moving and indeed orbiting Jupiter.
On January 13 he observed the 4th moon of Jupiter.
